Whether you’re already feeling festive or need a little fun to lift your spirits, Buckhead has something to offer you this holiday season. “Miracle on Peachtree” is the theme for all of December’s festivities, from visits with Santa at Lenox Square to even a hot chocolate crawl.

Hot Chocolate Crawls

Savor a festive beverage and toast the season at this year’s Hot Chocolate Crawl, a highlight of the “Miracle on Peachtree” event series from Livable Buckhead. Featuring live performances, delicious drinks and fun for the entire family, for 2023, you can choose between two different dates and unique locations and vibes. Choose which date works for you, or attend both! Admission is free and a commemorative campfire mug is available for a $5 donation to Livable Buckhead.

Bring the kids and your sweet tooth, and get ready to check out a variety of hot drinks offered by an array of Buckhead businesses. Partners of the Hot Chocolate Crawl include restaurants, hotels and shops. For adults who crave their cocoa spiked, liquors and liqueurs will be available for purchase.

Buckhead Village District

Dec. 2, 4 – 7:00pm

On Saturday, December 2nd Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll in Buckhead Village District, and the areas adjacent the the village, stopping at designated locations to enjoy hot chocolate and specialty cocktails along the way. Local musicians and holiday music will add to the festive atmosphere with performances at various points along the walking route.

Buckhead Business District, including Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza & Peachtree Road

Dec. 9, 5:30 – 8:30pm

On Saturday, December 9th, Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll along Peachtree Road, stopping at designated locations to enjoy hot chocolate and specialty cocktails along the way. Local musicians and holiday music will add to the festive atmosphere with performances at various points along the walking route.

Wreath Decorating Benefitting Atlanta Fire Rescue & Atlanta Police

On Saturday, December 2nd Livable Buckhead invites you to show your support of the men and women of Atlanta’s Fire Rescue and Police Departments and stop by to decorate wreaths and sign cards. When complete, they will be given to all 43 fire rescue stations across Atlanta. There will be several tables with wreaths and decorating supplies set up near Buckhead Library in the Buckhead Village District. Stop by for a few minutes or stay all day!

We encourage you to sign up to volunteer for this family-friendly and fun way to say “Thank You” to all the women and men of Atlanta’s Fire Rescue and Police Departments.

Livable Buckhead Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Saturday, December 2nd Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll from the Hot Chocolate Crawl in Buckhead Village District to Charlie Loudermilk Park for a Holiday Tree Lighting. Join us at this free, celebration, as we welcome the holiday season by lighting Buckheads 24′ tree in the center of Charlie Loudermilk Park.

Guests will enjoy free preview to their Dec. 8 & 9 concerts by the Georgia Boy Choir, while Trader Joes Buckhead provides hot chocolate and festive snacks. The choir begins at 6:50pm, and will include sign-a-longs, culminating in the tree lighting ceremony at 7:30pm.

The Buc Gives Back Holiday Hope Drive

This holiday season, the Buc community is embracing the spirit of giving through our Holiday Hope Drive. We’re on a mission to support two remarkable Atlanta-based charities, BCM Georgia and Lost-n-Found Youth, with the aim of making a meaningful difference in the lives of Georgians facing a housing crisis and Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ youth.

We invite you to be a part of the Buc Gives Back initiative. Discover more about our partner organizations and the essential resources they require. Together, let’s create a brighter, more inclusive holiday season for all. Donations are tax-deductible.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with the Atlanta Christkindl Market, a unique fusion of traditional German festivities and the vibrant spirit of Atlanta. From delicious culinary delights to handcrafted treasures, immerse yourself in an enchanting world where old-world charm intertwines with the modern energy of this bustling city.

Located in the Buckhead Village District,  over 50 vendors will set up shop in Parking Lot F, a 32,250 square foot lot at the corner of Bolling Way and Peachtree Rd. With ample parking in paid, designated decks, access to public transportation like MARTA, and the setup already in place to accommodate large crowds, The Buckhead Village offers a truly unique and welcoming environment for this incredible annual Atlanta tradition.

Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead: Hot Chocolate Pop-up

Date: Friday, November 24, December 8 and December 15

Time:  2 – 4pm

Brassica, The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead’s signature restaurant, is launching a lavish après shopping hot chocolate experience. A decadent pop-up will take place three times throughout the holiday season. Guests can stop by for a customizable hot chocolate experience with extravagant toppings, or opt for a seasonal speciality such as the Waldorf Astoria Hot Chocolate, with recommended additions of Peppermint Schnapps, Aged Rum or Rye Whiskey, or the spiked Brassica Gingerbread Eggnog. Light fare like Chocolate Hazelnut Tarts and Cinnamon Madeline will be available alongside these drinks.

On Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th, Santa will be on the shuttle from 3pm-7pm handing out candy canes and swag items and taking your Christmas wish list! Our team will decorate one of the shuttles with sparkly wrapping paper, twinkle lights and fun decor for people to capture the moment and share.

2023 Holiday Showhouse

Time:  6 – 8pm

Indulge in an intimate evening self-guided tour under the twinkling lights of the 2023 Holiday Designer Showhouse. The night will begin with an assortment of seasonal cocktails and beverages followed by light bites from local restaurants, Aziza and Carmel, and event design by Shannon Paige Events. 21 years of age and older; advance ticket purchase required and attendance is limited to 90 guests. Uber and Rideshare is required.

Located in Chastain Park, this sprawling California-cool residence with dramatic proportions is not to be missed! The 12,500-square-foot residence has been decked out for the holidays by nearly 20 interior designers. The 2023 Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Christmas with the Georgia Boy Choir

Time: 7 – 9:30pm

Ring in the Holiday Season with the internationally acclaimed Georgia Boy Choir! Come hear all five levels of the Georgia Boy Choir in this popular Atlanta tradition. Choristers will perform Christmas carols, sacred classics, and beloved holiday tunes. Don’t forget Atlanta’s largest performance of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” with all the audience participating! Accompanied by a full orchestra and The Great Organ of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church this Christmas spectacular is sure to fill you and your family with cheer!

PATH Museum

Join the PATH Museum for Crafts & Cocoa with Santa. There will be fun holiday crafts for the whole family with special help from Mrs. Claus.

PATH Museum is located at 3399 Peachtree Road (in the building next to JW Marriott Buckhead). Path is located at the ground level of that building.  Parking is free and located off Lenox Pkwy behind the 3399 building. Follow signs for Lenox Square Parking in the deck. Once parked, walk to the building across parking lot through glass doors.  Then follow escalators down one floor. We are in the lobby on the 3399 building (formerly Buckhead tower).

Toast To Elegance: A Holiday Soiree
